Visceral Course - Auckland
Lecturer: Nicolas Mariette
Date: 24-25 June 2017
Venue: Unitec, Mt Albert
CPD: 14 hrs
Let’s spend the weekend talking Visceral. We’ll start with some theory about the visceral world (after Barral – Mercier). We will work on the stomach, lesser omentum, liver (mainly on it’s ligaments), small intestine and ascending and descending colon. We will finally work on the two main junctions; ilio-jejunal and ilio-cecal. By the end of the weekend, you will have a repertoire of techniques for all the digestive tract.
You can expect a relaxed, fun environment and to leave feeling confident in many new techniques you can use in clinic straight away. Places are limited to ensure a high level of hands on tuition.
