Conference 2015 - Destination Wellington

Welcome to the coolest little capital in the world!

The vibrant centre of Wellington, known for it's arts scene, cafe and restaurant culture is the destination for Conference this August. Home of the NZ Ballet and Opera, Westpac Stadium and Te Papa there is something for everyone to enjoy in our beautiful capital.

Location

The Intercontinental Wellington is situated adjacent to the harbour waterfront in the heart of the CBD. Their conference facilities have been recently refurbished and are state of the art. 

Transport

Wellington airport is approximately 20 minutes from the CBD. Taxis, shuttles or the Flyer Bus all service the airport to city.

Accommodation

The Intercontinental has set aside a number of rooms for conference delegates starting at a rate of $219/room/night. These will be filled on a first in first served basis, and can be booked directly through Intercontinental Wellington. The booking code to be used is OST.

We have also obtained an accommodation block at the Ibis Hotel, one block from the Intercontinental. Rates for the Ibis are $119 for Friday night and $179 for Saturday. The code for booking is OsteopathsNZ and rooms will only be held at this rate until July 8th.

There are many different types of accommodation all within easy walking distance should you wish to stay elsewhere. Wellington's CBD is very compact and there are many hotel search engines (like Expedia for example) that can help you to investigate other options. There is an event at the stadium on Saturday 8th (NRL game) so we would recommend booking accommodation early as it will be a busy evening that night in the Capital!
